What should I check before buying a flat or plot?
At minimum: the title deed and chain of link documents, an Encumbrance Certificate, the GHMC or HMDA approved plan, the project's TG RERA registration where it applies, and up-to-date property tax receipts.
Can I approach RERA and a civil court at the same time?
RERA, consumer commissions and civil courts can overlap for builder–buyer disputes. The right forum depends on what relief you want, and choosing well at the start saves time.
